Van Jones, U.S. Media personality, entrepreneur, and world-class changemaker, is a powerful and courageous advocate for the Jewish community and for renewing the historic Black-Jewish alliance. Long before October 7, he spoke openly against antisemitism and called on the Black community to stand with Jews in the fight against hatred. Since October 7, Jones has continued to use his national platform to speak with moral clarity, support the Jewish community and Israeli hostages, and challenge antisemitism wherever it appears. He has consistently been seen wearing a blue square pin to stand against antisemitism and wore his yellow ribbon calling for the immediate release of all Israeli hostages. Jones speaks with moral clarity and has often stated, “I do not want to be silent because the Jewish community stood with the civil rights movement.” Through his EXODUS Leadership Forum and EXODUS Over Dinner initiative, he is working to rebuild trust and strengthen the historic partnership between Black and Jewish Americans. His commitment reflects a deeply held belief that these communities are stronger when they stand together against hatred and for one another. Thank you, Van for refusing to be silent, standing with the Jewish community, building bridges, and always choosing to stand on the right side of history.
