Olga Meshoe Washington (1981-2025) was a South African native, attorney, connector, author and ardent pro-Israel advocate, CEO of Defend Embrace Invest (in) Support Israel (DEISI) and chief operating officer of International Zionist Youth Organization Club Z. She was a Christian born in South Africa, who lived in America, and was buried in Israel. Olga and her relationship to Israel, the South African Jewish community, and world Jewry was unique and extraordinary. With a brilliant mind, a warm heart, and an indomitable spirit, she stood as a powerful advocate for Israel and a fearless champion of truth. The Israeli president’s office and various communal organizations enabled her to have her funeral on January 22 at the Tel Regev Cemetery in Rekhasim in Haifa. “This serves as a tribute to her and what she dedicated much if not most of her life to – being a strident voice on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.” May Olga’s life be forever a blessing.
