Mechel McKinley-Hoffman, a member of Marietta First United Church in Cobb County, Georgia is a true friend to the Jewish people. He helped to organize a peaceful and meaningful gathering in response to a group of neo-Nazi demonstrators who stood on the sidewalk in front of an Orthodox synagogue, Chabad of Cobb, with bright red flags emblazoned with the Nazi swastika. This event was held on June 28, 2023, and called “A Time of Prayer and Action” in support of the Cobb County Jewish community.
