Marziyeh Amirizadeh is an Iranian-American author, activist, and Christian convert who was born and raised in Iran, where she lived for 30 years. She was imprisoned for converting to Christianity and endured months of mental and physical hardships in Evin prison, one of the most brutal prisons in the world. After narrowly escaping a death sentence by hanging, she eventually found refuge in the United States and has since become a powerful advocate for religious freedom and human rights. Today, she is a vocal critic of the Iranian regime and a strong supporter of Israel. She frequently speaks about the importance of building bridges between the Iranian and Israeli people and often visits Israel to express solidarity, particularly following the October 7 attack. Thank you, Marziyeh for allowing others to know your story of faith and your ability to believe in yourself even during some of the most difficult and painful moments of your life. Thank you for your moral clarity and standing on the right side of history. And thank you for your courage to fight hate in all its forms and for your passionate support of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
