Mary Karp serves as the Director of Christian Engagement USA at StandWithUS , where she brings a deep passion for Israel and a commitment to helping fellow Christians understand why and how they can stand as friends of Israel. Through her work, Mary educates and advocates openly for Israel, while guiding Christian students on college campuses to understand the significance of Israel and how they can meaningfully support it. “I’ve always been a Zionist, but I didn’t realize it until I became involved in this movement,” Mary shares. “I thought, ‘Oh wait these beliefs I’ve always held supporting Israel, believing in its right to exist and defend itself that’s being a Zionist.” Learning alongside my Jewish peers truly opened my eyes to how serious and pervasive antisemitism is.” Thank you, Mary, for your moral clarity, for courageously using your voice and platform to educate young people about Israel’s right to exist, for standing against antisemitism, and for your steadfast support of Israel and the Jewish and Israeli communities.
