Dennis Ruggiero is an educator at St. Pius X High School in Atlanta, GA. He is a teacher of Theology and of Genocide and the Holocaust. Dennis is an alumnus of the ADL’s Bearing Witness Program and its advanced seminar which provides Catholic school educators with training and resources to help their students understand the history of anti-Semitism, the Holocaust, and modern manifestations of prejudice. Ruggerio often takes his senior students to Munich and the region to bear witness. They visit the University of Munich where the group of young students founded “White Rose” and where they were executed for their steadfast resistance to the Nazi state.
