Anila Ali, a Pakistani-American Muslim leader, educator, philanthropist, and founder and president of the American Muslim & Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council (AMMWEC), is a courageous and steadfast voice against antisemitism and extremism. For decades, she has worked to build bridges among Muslims, Jews, and Christians while speaking openly against hatred toward Jews and Israel. Since October 7, Ali has continued to stand publicly with the Jewish community and Israel, including leading Muslim leaders on solidarity and educational missions to Israel. Her work reflects a deep commitment to religious freedom, interfaith understanding, and the belief that Muslims have a responsibility to stand against antisemitism and hatred in all forms.
