Don Davis, NC State Representative is a loud voice when it comes to proclaiming his staunch support for the State of Israel and the Jewish people. He stands in “full support of our ally Israel and takes swift and decisive action to ensure our hostages are returned home.” In August of 2023, Davis visited Israel with a focus on fostering greater collaboration and understanding in a region often characterized by turmoil and conflict. During this visit he made a meaningful connection with an IDF soldier. On October 7, a couple months later, Davis received a text message from this soldier showing the devastation and what was happening in Israel in real time. In the wake of the terrorist attack by Hamas, Davis co-sponsored a bi-partisan resolution “declaring unwavering support for our strongest ally and calling for additional assistance to Israel …and affirms that Israel, as a sovereign state, is entitled to act in self-defense.” Thank you, Don for standing with Israel and the Jewish people.
